Here’s how it’s been for the last few years:
Q: You have a series of creative healthy recipes, right?
A: Yes, I do!
Q: Are they in English?
A: No, they aren’t, but we are working on it.
Starting today, I can say: ‘‘We have one of them already made into an app, you can get it for under a dollar on Google Play!”.
This is a big deal, as we prepare to have all the volumes up as an app. The app will let you have the recipes in your pocket, no matter where you are. It will let you show coworkers and friends what you made for dinner last night, it will let you shop easier and calculate amounts faster than ever. More than anything this is not an app with 1000 recipes, these are carefully selected, client tested, healthy, whole food recipes, that I have been making with clients and fat loss groups for over 10 years.
My partner, Diana, is a phenomenal photographer and has done her best to bring you the real food we made, cooked, enjoyed with friends, as realistic as possible. There are no special effects, no dies, no gimmicks. This is what we cooked, ate, photographed and published.
Volume 1 of the Art of Real Food, which is now available on Google Play has a special place in my heart. Cooked in a small kitchen in the old downtown area of Sofia, Bulgaria, many of these recipes had us roaming markets, talking to owners at organic stores, who selected produce and eggs for us, we carried bags many flights of stairs, and were even accompanied by our cat, who always loved to peek and see what Diana and I were up to.
If you are in Bulgaria, you can always enjoy the printed collectable vintage cards in a handmade wooden box – our dream when we started with the collection of 8 volumes was to revive the lost art of beautiful recipe cards. With the app, you can jump ahead and be space-age modern, while your food is whole like the food of our ancestors.
Enjoy this labor of love- and let us know what you think in the comments on Google Play!
