Mindfulness is a personal thing.
Some people want to go to a led practice. Others want it online. Some want video. Others want an app.
We’ll be building a list of some our favorites right here. If your favorite is missing, let us know!
Guided Meditation Apps
Headspace
We use and recommend Headspace, which is available for Apple, Android, and online via any web browser. There’s a free trial, and Andy’s voice is so soothing. You’ll love it.
Headspace also has a Buddies feature, where you invite a friend and encourage each other to meditate and keep up the practice.
They recently added a live, group practice so you can meditate with hundreds of people at the same time. It’s a great shared experience!
This is not an affiliate link, but it does give you full access for two weeks vs the standard trial, which includes just 10 basic practices.
We (Galina and Roland) both use Headspace,, and have been for over a year. If you want an app with tons of content and options, this is it!
Calm
Calm is also available for Apple, Android, and online via any web browser.
There’s a free trial, too.
Abide
Abide is great for those who want guided Christian meditation and is available on the web, Apple, and Android.
It’s free to create a basic member account, which will give you access to their authored prayers, plus a list of topics and ability to set a daily prayer time.
